Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup uncooked orzo pasta
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté chopped chicken until browned, about 6-8 minutes.
  • Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, and oregano. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Add uncooked orzo, chicken broth, heavy cream, diced tomatoes, and peas to the skillet.
  • Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 8-10 minutes until orzo is al dente.
  • Transfer the mixture to a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly on top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  • Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
